Information Akumal Pack
Day 1
Chichen Itzá
A must-see destination where you can immerse yourself in the essence of the Mayan culture and one of its most important deities: Kukulkan, the feathered serpent god. The impressive pyramid found here is a tribute to him. You’ll tour the site for 2 hours accompanied by a certified guide who will explain the meaning and legends behind each building. Afterward, you’ll have free time to explore the site on your own.
Ik Kil Cenote
One of the most iconic and beautiful cenotes in the region. You’ll enjoy a refreshing swim surrounded by lush vegetation in a spectacular natural setting. This cenote offers a magical experience that you’ll remember forever. After swimming, we’ll head to a buffet restaurant to recharge before continuing the tour.
Cobá
We continue our archaeological journey with a visit to Cobá, a city hidden deep in the jungle, adding a touch of adventure to the experience. This site is home to the tallest pyramid in the Riviera Maya. Our guide will walk you through its ancient structures and share fascinating stories of this once-powerful city. You’ll also visit the famous ball court where Mayans used to perform sacred rituals and human sacrifices.
Day 2
Tulum
We’ll begin the day visiting Tulum, a unique Mayan city located right by the sea. This site was a major commercial hub, and its ruins are set against a breathtaking backdrop of turquoise waters and white sand beaches. You’ll enjoy a 1-hour guided tour followed by 30 minutes of free time to explore the site or relax by the beach.
Akumal
Akumal is one of the best places in the world to swim with sea turtles in their natural habitat. You’ll enjoy nearly an hour in the bay, guided by a professional, swimming alongside turtles, with the chance to see rays, barracudas, lobsters, and a colorful variety of tropical fish — all within the second-largest coral reef in the world.
4 Cenotes
We’ll visit a stunning location featuring four cenotes — two open and two underground. With the guidance of our expert, you’ll learn about the different types of cenotes and their formations, and of course, you’ll get to swim in their crystal-clear waters. This area is among the most prestigious cenote regions in the Riviera Maya.
