Chichen Itzá
As you may know, Chichen Itzá is one of the most visited archaeological sites near the Riviera Maya. Although it is technically located outside the region, it’s just a few hours away and easily accessible through our excursion. Found in the state of Yucatán, this ancient city is home to the pyramid that became one of the New Seven Wonders of the World — making your visit to this majestic site truly unforgettable.
Cenote Hubiku
This cenote was once believed by the Maya to be a gateway to the underworld. Today, you can enjoy everything that Cenote Hubiku has to offer. With a depth of 60 meters, you’ll have the chance to swim for 40 minutes and relive the experience of the ancient Mayas. The visit concludes with a delicious local meal in a traditional setting.
Ek Balam
When visiting the ancient city of Ek Balam, you’ll be amazed by its elegant and well-preserved structures. This was once home to nobles and powerful merchants. Among its highlights are a set of twin buildings that will capture your attention, and a famous ball court where ancient games of life and death were played.
Tulum
Tulum is a stunning destination, especially for those who enjoy history by the sea. Built facing the breathtaking turquoise ocean, it’s perfect for a daytime visit. You’ll have the opportunity to swim in the Caribbean and explore its iconic pyramids. Our expert guide will provide a one-hour tour, after which you’ll have free time to enjoy the beach or explore the site on your own.
Cobá
Hidden deep within the jungle, Cobá is another must-see site in the Riviera Maya. This ancient city is home to well-preserved Mayan ruins in their original condition. The main attraction is the Nohoch Mul pyramid — a truly awe-inspiring structure that will leave you speechless.
Isla Contoy
Your adventure to Isla Contoy starts early with hotel pickup to make the most of your day. You’ll board a speedboat headed to this dreamlike island, stopping along the way for snorkeling in spectacular coral reefs. Upon arrival, you can join a guided tour to learn about the island’s diverse wildlife and bird species. Later, enjoy some time to relax in the calm, clear waters and taste authentic Maya cuisine prepared on the beach.
But the experience doesn’t end there — after your meal and a bit of relaxation, you’ll continue to Isla Mujeres, where you can explore the island or enjoy more snorkeling in its crystal-clear waters.
