Chichen Itza
This is the perfect destination for lovers of Mayan archaeological ruins. You’ll explore the impressive Chichen Itza pyramid and walk among the surrounding buildings, admiring their spectacular architecture. This ancient city has thousands of years of history, which makes it such a special place. On this tour, you’ll discover the most important aspects of Mayan culture, their customs, and everything you need to know. With our certified guides, you won’t miss a single detail about this magnificent civilization.
Hubiku
The Hubiku Cenote is located near Chichen Itza. Its name means “The Great Lord” or “Nest of Iguanas.” You’ll love taking a refreshing swim in this natural sanctuary. It’s a semi-open cenote with a hole in the ceiling through which tree roots cascade down, creating a magical view.
Ek Balam
Another beautiful example of Mayan culture, Ek Balam is known for its exquisite architectural details. It’s believed that high-ranking nobles lived here, judging by the refinement of its structures. Located in Yucatán just a few kilometers from Chichen Itza, Ek Balam adds to your complete immersion into Mayan history. Its name means “Dark Jaguar” or “Jaguar Star.” One of its most notable buildings is **Sak Xok Nahh** (“White House of Reading”), the tomb of **Ukit Kan Le’t Tok**, buried with a massive offering of over 7,000 objects made of ceramics, shells, snails, and tumbaga.
Tulum
Tulum is one of the most emblematic Mayan cities, located just a short distance from Cancún and Playa del Carmen. Its greatest charm lies in its coastal location—built right on the edge of the sea, offering stunning views and an ocean breeze while you admire its ancient structures. Our guides will explain everything in detail so you won’t miss a thing.
Cobá
This tour is packed with archaeology, and Cobá is a must. This ancient Mayan city once housed over 50,000 people and was a vital political and trading center. Surrounded by lagoons and cenotes, the city was self-sufficient. The name “Cobá” means “Ruffled Water” or “Abundant Water,” and it lies just a few kilometers from Tulum. Your certified guide will lead you through the key highlights, including the **astronomical observatory**, the well-preserved **ball court**, and the **tallest pyramid in the region**, standing at 42 meters. Yes, you can still climb it and enjoy the breathtaking jungle views from the top.
Akumal
“Akumal” means “Place of the Turtles” in the Mayan language. This peaceful paradise between Playa del Carmen and Tulum is famous for its calm white sand beaches and crystal-clear waters where you can swim with sea turtles in their natural habitat. Ideal for snorkeling, Akumal offers a relaxing and authentic experience surrounded by nature. Enjoy the Caribbean Sea, spot tropical fish, and disconnect in this tranquil, safe setting.
Swim with Whale Sharks
This is one of the most thrilling excursions! Imagine swimming alongside the **largest fish in the world**—a truly unforgettable experience. Available **from May to September**, this tour takes place during the whale sharks’ migration to the Mexican Caribbean. You’ll board a boat at Puerto Juarez for a 50-minute ride to the area where whale sharks gather. Once there, you’ll spend up to **3 hours swimming** with them, with chances to also see manta rays and turtles along the way. After the swim, if time allows, you’ll visit a coral reef near Isla Mujeres for more snorkeling. Then you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch at **Playa Norte** before returning around 2:00 PM.
