Mayan Tour: Cobá – Multun-Ha Cenote – Tulum – Mayan Museum

Cobá, which means Turbid Water in the Mayan language (though other interpretations exist), is located west of Tulum’s coastline. At its peak, it had a population of around 50,000 inhabitants and covered an area of 80 square kilometers. However, the area open to visitors is about 2 square kilometers, which has been preserved and restored — the rest remains hidden beneath the dense Yucatecan jungle.

Information Mayan Tour: Cobá – Multun-Ha Cenote – Tulum – Mayan Museum

Tulum, meaning “walled city,” offers a visit of approximately an hour and a half. During the tour, you’ll explore its main structures with detailed explanations from our guide and enjoy breathtaking views of the sea — it’s one of the few archaeological sites preserved right on the shoreline.

You’ll also visit the Maya Museum in Parque del Jaguar, where you can admire ancient artifacts, pottery, sculptures, and much more.

In Cobá, the highlight is its main pyramid, Nohoch Mul, the tallest in Yucatán at 42 meters high. A guided tour of around 2 hours is included. After the tour, you’ll have some free time to enjoy an activity of your choice before we continue.

You’ll then enjoy a refreshing swim or simply admire the Multum Ha cenote, an impressive cave-shaped cenote with crystal-clear waters.

This is an experience you can’t miss in the Riviera Maya.
After the tour, we’ll return to your hotel — ending a day you’re sure to remember.

Pick-up for this full-day tour is approximately at 6:30 a.m., with return around 6:00 p.m. The total duration is about 10 hours.
