Information Turquesa Pack
Chichen Itzá
The most famous Mayan city in the Riviera Maya, located in the state of Yucatán. Here you can admire the stunning pyramid of Chichen Itzá, built in honor of Kukulkan, the feathered serpent god. This pyramid is full of symbolic elements with various meanings, and our expert guide will explain everything this ancient city holds during a 2-hour guided tour. Afterwards, you’ll have one hour of free time to explore the site on your own. Make sure to walk through it all—you’ll be amazed by the grandeur of the Mayan monuments.
Cenote Hubiku
Cenote Hubiku is about 60 meters deep and located approximately 25 meters underground. It sits inside a small cavern with a natural skylight where sunlight pours in, illuminating the lush vegetation and the water below—sometimes even revealing small fish. You’ll have around 45 minutes to enjoy a refreshing swim and then enjoy a meal at the cenote’s on-site restaurant.
Ek Balam
This Mayan city is home to some of the most detailed and well-preserved sculptures and structures. Our guide will explain how the noble class of the Maya lived and how they interacted in their society. This tour is scheduled early in the day to avoid large crowds and intense heat.
Tulum
Tulum is the only Mayan city built along the coast, which made it the ideal location for trade. You’ll love this dreamy archaeological site where the ruins are set against a backdrop of turquoise Caribbean waters. Our guide will lead a one-hour tour, followed by 30 minutes of free time to explore the area and enjoy its beautiful beach.
Cobá
This tour is a favorite among visitors. Cobá is home to one of the tallest Mayan pyramids in the Riviera Maya—and the best part is, you can climb it! From the top, you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking jungle views. This city is also known for its astronomical observatory, where the Maya studied the stars, and its sacred ball court used for ceremonial games. A guide will explain all the highlights, and you’ll have time to enjoy the area freely.
Akumal
Akumal is one of the most peaceful and charming places in the Riviera Maya. Known for its crystal-clear waters and abundant marine life, it’s the ideal place to relax, snorkel, and swim alongside sea turtles in their natural habitat. Its name means “Place of Turtles” in the Mayan language—and it lives up to that name. A perfect destination for nature and ocean lovers.
Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve
Did you know that the Sian Ka’an Biosphere is a UNESCO World Heritage Site? It’s a breathtaking natural paradise. You’ll visit several pristine white-sand beaches and turquoise bays. Enjoy snorkeling in the reserve’s natural pool, where you can observe turtles and many species of exotic birds. The tour also includes a 3-hour boat ride through the area to fully explore its beauty and biodiversity.
