Information Chichen Itza, Ik Kil & Valladolid

The approximate pick-up time from your hotel will be around 6:00 a.m., with a return around 6:00 p.m. This full-day excursion lasts approximately 12 hours. Starting early allows us to be among the first to arrive at Chichén Itzá, avoiding crowds and the intense midday heat.

Chichén Itzá, meaning “Mouth of the well of the water sorcerers” in the Mayan language, is one of the most important archaeological sites in the Yucatán Peninsula. Its main structure, El Castillo de Kukulkán, represents the Mayan civil calendar. Other notable buildings include El Caracol (also known as The Observatory), the Group of the Thousand Columns, La Iglesia, Temple of Venus, Temple of the Jaguar, and the Great Ball Court — the largest ever built in Mesoamerica.
